Bumblebee Manor
Manoir Bourdon (Bumblebee Manor) is a holiday destination 15 miles (23 kilometers) south of Saumur nestled within the Parc Naturel Regional Loire, Anjou and Touraine. There are 5 well-appointed cottages within the lovely walled grounds of the old manor (circa 1812). There is a heated pool during the main season and a large garden that will satisfy your needs for solitude or socializing.
We maintain a large vegetable garden that produces wonderful vegetables and fruits during the summer months.

We are close to all of the magnificent castles in the valley and you would be remiss not to visit some of them during your stay. We will be very happy to give some pointers as to which ones are best to visit according to your interests.

Walk the trails around the manor, or borrow our yellow cruiser bicycles to tootle along the quiet roads. Join us and experience the many local markets showcasing the world-renowned food of the Loire Valley. Purchase incredibly fresh ingredients to prepare a meal in your self-catering cottage. Don’t want to cook? No problem, there are many excellent bistros and restaurants close by.
Wine Experiences Join Martin on a wine experience, meet local winemakers and sample the amazing variety of Loire valley wines. The area is probably the most diverse of France, sure to meet your tastes.
