One Day wine tasting local wines

The Anjou-Saumur area is serious wine country and we would be remiss not to show you the best that the region has to offer! Right at our doorstep we produce whites, reds, bubbles and dessert wines. The award-winning vineyards we will visit are either family owned or independent growers… and we have privileged access to their premises, vineyard and the wine makers.

What is included?

• Pick up to and from Saumur

• Full day: 10:00-17:00 touring the Anjou-Saumur wine region.

• Briefing at the Manoir to discover the Loire wine region,and a few tips of how to taste wines like an expert.

• Three local vineyards – about 6-7 different appellations,up to 20 cuvees!

• A sumptuous lunch at a local restaurant

Relax, enjoy the scenery, local stories and rich history of our region… and of course the wonderful wines.

We run these tours ourselves in our 8-seater van, so we have a level of flexibility to accommodate your requirements, so please contact us if you want to book or have any questions.

The groups are never larger than 8, and usually between 4 and 6 people. If you prefer a personalized tour for two people, we can accommodate that too at a small surcharge.
