One Day wine tasting focussing on Whites

The savennières region is synonymous with high quality white wines! The area is also making a drive towards fully bio-dynamic production, with one of vineyard being bio for over 50 years. The chenin based wines are superb and the vineyards we visit contrast the traditional and modern wine making methods.

What is included?

• Pick up to and from Saumur. • Full day: 10:00-17:00 touring the savennières wine region.

• Briefing at the Manoir, or nearby to discover the Loire wine region, and a few tips of how to taste wines like an expert.

• Two or three award winning vineyards – over 10 cuvees!

• Time permitting, we can also make a stop at the renown chaume region to taste some of their award-winning dessert wines.

• A sumptuous lunch at a local restaurant

Relax, enjoy the scenery, local stories and rich history of our region… and of course the wonderful wines.

We run these tours ourselves in our 8-seater van, so we have a level of flexibility to accommodate your requirements. Please contact us if you want to book or have any questions.

The groups are never larger than 8, and usually between 4 and 6 people. If you prefer a personalized tour for two people, we can accommodate that too at a small surcharge.
