Château de Brézé
Description
Château de Brézé is a small castle with a dry moat located in Brézé, near Saumur in the Loire Valley, France.
The castle was transformed in the 16th and 19th centuries. The current structure is Renaissance in style but retains medieval elements, including a drawbridge and a 12th century troglodite basement. Today it is the residence of the descendants of the old lords. The castle is a listed ancient monument dating from 1060.
A range of wines are produced at the château which has 30 hectares of vines
