Description
Bumblebee Manor (Manoir Bourdon) is a historic manor house in the middle of a small French village south of Saumur in the Loire Valley Natural Park. It is surrounded by vineyards, farm and fields that are filled with color during the summer.
You enter the property through a gate, making the property safe and secure, and a haven from the bustle of tourist traffic. The property has ample space for parking, relaxing and feeling a world away from your everyday life.
Borrow one of our bikes and tootle along our country lanes to pick up crossants for breakfast and explore local villages and wineries. Experience the fabulous local food at local cafes, bistros and restaurants, or shop at a local market and prepare a relaxed meal in your own kitchen to enjoy in your private outdoor space with a glass of renowned Loire Valley wine.
Our 2-person cottages are perfect for couples wanting a romantic getaway or for groups of friends and family wanting a shared vacation. Groups of 6 or more are given access to the manor house terrace with its alfresco dining and lounge areas, the best of both worlds as each couple have their own self-catering space but the group has a place to gather for dining and socializing.
With easy access to castles, markets, great restaurants and wineries, Bumblebee Manor is perfectly situated for a wonderful holiday in the Loire Valley, France. We look forward to hosting you and sharing la belle vie francaise. To life!
